The Industrial Information Systems team focus on consultancy, requirements definition, design and application configuration services using a range of commercial software applications, to a wide and varied well known client base.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the successful completion and delivery of Industrial Information System projects in conjunction with other team members.
Deliver allocated project tasks within cost and programme targets
Deliver in compliance with ISO9001, TickIT and other standards as required.
Engage with a variety of customers in a professional and consistent manner.
You will be responsible on a daily basis to your respective Project Manager or Project Director.
Requirements:
Essential
Competent user of Microsoft Operating Systems.
Enthusiastic nature and a hunger to embrace new ideas & technology which can deliver benefits to our clients.
Domain knowledge in industrial information systems in one or more of the following market areas: Utilities, Food & Beverage, Chemicals
Desirable
A combination of two or more of the following knowledge areas is highly desirable;
Understanding/familiarity with more than one SCADA Application configuration (for example iFIX, Iconix, FactoryLink, RSView, WinCC, Citect).
Telemetry design/implementation knowledge/skills.
Understanding/Familiarity with PLC systems & programming (for example Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens etc).
Knowledge of programming techniques such as VBA, .NET
Knowledge of Relational Database concepts and programming
Understanding of electrical standards and instrumentation
Qualifications ideally degree qualified with an electrical/ electronics/computing/controls bias.
Willingness to work towards Chartered Engineer Status
Additional Information:
This position will require you to use a company vehicle on occasions, as a result you must hold a full drivers licence with up to a maximum of 6 penalty points.
This position may require visits away from the home office for short periods of time.
Applicants for this position must have the right to work in the UK without restriction.
This position will require you to undergo Security Clearance for work on some government related contracts.
