Description
System administrator / Support consultant required to work for a large defence company in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be required to be SC cleared (prior to appointment). The post is within the infrastructure support area.
System administrator / Support consultant required to work for a large defence company in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be required to be SC cleared (prior to appointment). The post is within the infrastructure support area. The system administrator role will be responsible for resolving technical issues relating to the management of the DESKTOP / SERVER environment. Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000 / XP - platforms and office suite Ideally a few years experience as a systems administrator in a distributed environment. MCSE qualified, or working towards it. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Responsibilities - Maintain operational performance of Microsoft Platforms, through a combination of preventative maintenance and effective problem resolution. Responding to customer generated incidents, resolving any problems that occur. Meet required service level agreements. Willingness to work a possible shift pattern.
