Primary Purpose of Job
The Software Engineer will be responsible for performing software engineering activities on allocated projects across the full software project lifecycle
Key tasks and accountabilities
Reporting to the Software Manager, the candidate will be responsible for design, coding and testing of embedded software for mobile phone application products.
Technical & Professional Skills
•Experience of application development for Symbian operating system on Nokia mobile phone target, specifically Symbian/S60r3
•Experience with Carbide development environment.
•C++ programming language
•Software lifecycle experience required low level design, coding, testing.
•Experience of UML Model Driven Development preferred.
•Capable of working in a small team with minimum supervision.
Current SC security clearance is desirable although not essential but successful candidates must be willing to undergo security clearance.
