Description
An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Support Solution Development Engineer based in Filton, for this large defence company.
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar role with significant ship support experience and will assist in the definition of the support services to be provided by SFS for the Type 45 Destroyer
Key Technical Skills
•Participate in developing, maintaining and modifying support processes and procedures in assigned areas.
•Evaluate process interfacing issues to develop proposals for process improvements.
•Basic knowledge of customer and user technical support requirements.
•Basic commercial and financial awareness.
•Business strategy understanding.
•IT skills, particularly MS Office suite, Internet Explorer.
Qualifications
Degree qualified in engineering discipline, or HND (or equivalent) with significant support engineering experience
