Support Service Engineer
Newcastle- rate of pay ££14 ph PAYE - £17.41 ph Ltd
Required to:-
- Carry out the duties as directed by the supervising Test Engineer or Snr Service Engineer
- Carry out mechanical/hydraulic/electrical repairs and servicing on Ships deck machinery, cranes and steering gear as required.
- Advise the supervising engineer of equipment condition
- Undertake supervision ( when required) of sub-contract personnel
- Replace defective parts in a safe and efficient manner
- Provide written reports on equipment condition recommending any further actions required.
The ideal candidate will have a proven level of competence of working with Naval Deck machinery
Time served with recognised engineering qualification
Eligible to go through Security Clearance process
The availability to travel, along with a clean driving license
