SUPPLY MANAGER - HAVERHILL - UPTO £30,000

If so, our client is looking to recruit a Supply Manager to ensure continuity of supply of raw materials maintain production levels. Duties: based at the companies central manufacturing site, you will research market conditions and understand supply base and vendor capabilities.
Participate in global sourcing and cross-functional team initiatives. Develop, execute and manage regional sourcing initiatives.
Seek opportunities for improvements in the areas of supply chain performance, business relationships / alliances, optimal packaging, delivery scheduling and costs of materials.
Ensure adherence to quality requirements, continuation of supply and reliability of deliveries.
Administer global master data in SAP and maintain costs using internal systems.
Evaluate supplier performance and manage/monitor contracts.
Negotiate pricing and terms of agreement.
Skills:
Procurement experience
BS Degree or equivalent
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work productively in team and matrix management environment
CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) would be preferable
