Supply Chain Manager - London and South East Region

Package: £60-65k basic plus full benefits package

Company: Well known Contractor operating across a variety of building sectors throughout the region.

Role: To manage the regions supply chain function, procurement team and future development.
You will be responsible for implementing corporate supply chain strategy and for delivering a supply chain that meets company standards, you will lead key negotiations and agree contract conditions with partners, include KPI's and the ongoing performance management and continuous improvement.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:-
Effectively manage the Supply Chain to deliver the regions needs.
Ensuring that effective cost management is achieved
Develop long term partners in line with Business requirements
Manage and close out tender and contract negotiations.
Ensure selection conforms to corporate strategy.
Measure and manage supply chain performance.
Develop an ongoing supply chain strategy to reduce cost and risk
Develop and implement continuous improvement plans.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will be experienced in supply chain management, ideally with professional membership. You will demonstrate a successful track record of leading UK supply chain activity in operational procurement, within an organisation focused upon the Construction Building market.
Suitable candidates will be fully competent in tender and contract procurement practice and processes.
The successful candidate for this role will demonstrate the ability to lead a team delivering operational procurement. You must also demonstrate the ability to drive operational delivery and be committed to performance improvement.
As a competent negotiator you will demonstrate strong contractual and commercial knowledge and will be firmly focused on key relationship management.
