An excellent opportunity has arisen within this leading manufacturer of products into the automotive industry for a Supply Chain Manager to head up its purchasing and logistics operation.
THE ROLE
It will be the successful applicants role to manage the day to day operations of the purchasing and supply chain side of the business. You will need to be a strong character with the ability to lead and improve a small team of people whilst ensuring that you are constantly looking at ways of improving and rationalising the current supply chain.
THE PERSON
You will need to be an all rounder with skills in both purchasing and supply chain management as well as some man management experience. Ideally you will have been involved in developing systems using MRP or similar software, however the key skills that you need will be the ability manage and improve an existing operation. Ideally you will have some automotive experience or be from a fast paced manufacturing environment however, most backgrounds will be considered if you have the desire and drive to succeed.
You will be given every opportunity to progress within this growing automotive supplier which will be supported through ongoing training and development.
