My client, a global presence in the power generation sector, is seeking a Supplier Quality Improvement Manager for their South Lincolnshire facility to lead and manage activities with both new and existing suppliers.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for leading and managing quality activities with new and existing suppliers to maintain and improve overall supplier performance to agreed targets. Coach suppliers in APQP techniques and quality tools to support the Company's VPI Process ensuring that new supplier's products are delivered to the agreed specifications within the project lifecycle. Working in partnership with purchasing to promote continual improvement and to ensure that new and existing supplier's processes are capable.
Applicants should hold a degree/HNC qualification in a suitable engineering discipline and will have suitable experience as an ISO 900:2000/TS 16949 Auditor.
