Structures Test - Test Leader.
The successful candidate will have the following essential qualifications and experience:
Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
PC literate
Experience in Design/Manufacture/Assembly & Performance of test rigs & test specimens.
Excellent coordination, networking & engineering project management skills.
Structures Test - Test Leader.
Responsibilities
The Test Leader is responsible and accountable for structural testing in the wing test centre.
The test leader is responsible to ensure that all testing is conducted to AP5006 and that all testing activities are funded via the SoW process.
The test leader is also responsible to ensure that the task spend comes in on budget at year end via monthly reporting and management of risks and opportunities, and by challenging requirements
The Test Leader is responsible to ensure that all test plans are up to date and that Work and Organisational Breakdown Structures are in place for each test.
The Test Leader is also responsible to ensure that the ESV Test Database is kept up to date for all testing activities and that all tests are captured in the top level STPN documents as per report 6 CC3.
The Test Leader is responsible risk data to be input into the overall Test Managers risk register including financial and time impacts and mitigation.
Upward and downward communication and status at the Test Manager drumbeats.
Accountability
All aspects of the test under their control.
Financial control of all tests.
