Our client a large consultancy are looking for a Structural Engineer for a minimum of a 6 month contract in East Grinstead.
The vacancy is for a senior engineer to support and assist in the development of the structural section within a team of over 20 infrastructure engineers based within our East Grinstead office. With at least 5 years post graduate experience the candidate will be chartered or near chartered.
The main project will be large waste treatment facility (large steel frames and concrete composting tunnels). The designer must be experienced in long span truss design and able to use a number of steelwork design packages (The client uses the CSC suite).
Experience and Qualifications Required
> At least 5 years relevant post graduate experience.
> Computer literate and familiar with analysis and design using various software packages.
> Structural or Civil Engineering related Degree, BEng level minimum, or equivalent, e.g. HNC.
> Chartered, or currently pursuing chartership (ICE)
