Description
Become part of the all British design team chosen to design one of South East Asias most ambitious civic projects. You will be working for a London based practice involved in the design and supervision of the innovative structural aspects of the largest landscaping project of its kind ever undertaken. You will also be working on the more interesting and arresting features of the gardens, including the giant artificial tree structures. These dramatic and technically challenging structures act as hanging gardens, rainwater catchers, night time lighting, bar and restaurant venues as well as shading providers for the pathways below. Some will be connected by aerial walkways and they will be of differing heights between 30 and 50 meters. There are also two giant, dome shaped, climate controlled conservatories, twelve bridges and six other mixed buildings to be designed and built. Our client is partnering with a local practice that is charged with much of the final detailing and you will be involved in coordination, checking and detailing. You will be based in both London and Singapore and when the practice has fulfilled its obligations in Singapore you will be based in their London office where you will continue your career and continue working at the cutting edge of structural design and innovation.
