Experienced Structural Design Draughtsman required, capable of developing structural engineered solutions utilising 2D/3D CAD packages. Requirements:
evelopment of structural engineered solutions in a 3D model environment iaw relevant specifications and design intent Development of 2D fabrication drawings for use in a production environment iaw relevant specifications and design intent Liasing with Professional Engineers in the production of structural engineered solutions Production of technical documents and reports On-site surveys in support of the development of structural engineered solutions. Production of material take-offs Feedback on progress of tasks to relevant leader/manager Key Attributes: Practical steel ship structural design experience Appreciation of shipyard steel production processes Ability to work effectively in a team Work off-site at clients premises, both in the UK and overseas Drive and commitment Good communication skills Qualifications: HNC preferred or as a minimum ONC in the relevant engineering discipline
