We currently require stress engineers for an aerospace client based near Cardiff. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of composite materials and will be looking to further your career within stress engineering.

We currently require stress engineers for an aerospace client based near Cardiff. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of composite materials and will be looking to further your career within stress engineering.

This is a fantastic opportunity for talented individuals to work for a bespoke manufacturer of aerospace products. You will be working with some of the best known airlines in the world and will be working on advanced composite materials.

With a background in stress engineering your responsibilities will be to:
Prepare, review and approve stress and structural documentation to submit for customer and regulatory approval.
Review and approve drawing and designs for stress
Liaise with customers and other company departments as required.
Develop capabilities for FEA and Dynamic Analyses.

Background and qualifications:
HND / BEng in mechanical or structural engineering.
Specification and report writing.
Experience with preparing test articles, conducting test programmes and organising test facilities.
Experience of working to regulatory standards and quality procedures within the aerospace industry.
Man management and project management skills.
Computer literate with MS Office software and MATH CAD

Working relationships:
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Pro-active team member.

Other conditions:
Full driving licence required.
Must be willing to travel to support programmes as required both at home and abroad.
Flexible approach to work and tasks.
