Description
A number of opportunities for Stress Analysis Engineers at all levels have arisen within this leading technical consultancey who are market leaders within the Aerospace, Automotive, MOD and consumer market places.
THE ROLE
The roles will vary Dependant upon your experience from basic hand calculations and straightforward computer simulations on metallic structures for more junior engineers, through to analysis of linear and non linear structures and assemblies and the supervision of more junior engineers for a more experienced Analysis Engineer.
THE CANDIDATE
You will need to be degree qualified in mechanical or materials engineering, and have a solid understanding of the principles of FEA and stress analysis. You will need to have good CAD skills particularly in relation to analysis software. Any further analysis experience will be beneficial such as vibration and dynamics or heat exchange or thermal analysis. Knowledge of these and other areas will determine what level you will join the team at.
