Our client is a forward looking, forward thinking and rapidly expanding business. As a well established provider of BPO solutions for blue chip organisations, they are looking for only the best people to help them achieve their ambition. They now have an opportunity for a Stores Person / Purchasing Coordinator / Stores Buyer.
Based within the engineering stores at our customers facility in Corby, as a Stores Person / Purchasing Coordinator / Stores Buyer you will:
- Work closely with the site engineers to source urgent engineering consumable items
- Check deliveries and receipt goods into the computer systems before locating these to storage areas
- Issue goods to stores customers
- Assist stores customers in the selection of products
- Perform weekly rolling stock checks as instructed
- Maintain a good standard of housekeeping
To succeed as a Stores Person / Purchasing Coordinator / Stores Buyer you will have previous experience within engineering procurement or an engineering environment. You will also need to demonstrate a good working knowledge of stores and inventory management, and possess experience of dealing with suppliers and contractors.
