Description
Working closely with our client you will be responsible for the procurement of all Machine, Repair and Operating components required in order to facilitate the smooth engineering processes of their factory. The materials & components are to be obtained at the lowest possible cost, whilst ensuring that all technical, quality, logistics, production and financial objectives are met.

Working closely with our client you will be responsible for the procurement of all Machine, Repair and Operating components required in order to facilitate the smooth engineering processes of their factory. The materials & components are to be obtained at the lowest possible cost, whilst ensuring that all technical, quality, logistics, production and financial objectives are met.
You will ensure the best possible cost of materials, and maintain the flow and supply of materials in accordance with quality, logistics and production expectations.
You will achieve effective sourcing and costing opportunities to assist in the gain of profitability and reliability and develop and manage supplier relationships. You will be a strong communicator and negotiator with suppliers.
For this role you must have a forklift truck licence.
The ideal candidate will preferably be CIPS qualified
