Our client, a world leading electronics & electro mechanical manufacturer, require a Strategic level Purchasing manager with a mandate to strategically develop & implement commodity/supply chain strategies to reduce costs.

Our client, a world leading electronics & electro mechanical manufacturer, require a Strategic level Purchasing manager with a mandate to strategically develop & implement commodity/supply chain strategies to reduce costs.
This will involve supervising the strategic purchasing team & executing sourcing projects to achieve continuous improvement and long term cost reduction.
You should bring a Degree /HND or equivalent plus experience within Strategic & tactical purchasing within an electronics manufacturing environment. You should understand Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, design for manufacture, vendor managed inventory & component standardisation. A good knowledge of purchasing contract terms & conditions would be very advantageous.
Salary in range £35,000 - £40,000 plus good benefits
