Solidworks Design Draughtsman - Basingstoke
Exciting opportunity for a Solidworks Draughtsperson with a couple of years experience to get into Product Design with a Hampshire based design company.
You should be a competent Solidworks user and have a practical engineering background, ideally having served an apprenticeship, or equivalent. A good working knowledge of materials and batch production methods (fabrication, sheet metalwork, spinning, sand and gravity die casting etc) is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills are essential as candidates will be expected to work closely with all departments as well as suppliers (and occasionally deal directly with customers). As well as working as part of a team candidates should be able to work on their own initiative, work flexibly and respond quickly and positively to all requests.
