Software Test Lead Engineer
Great opportunity with leading edge electronics company. To drive software Test activities within Engineering, leading small team of software test engineers supporting software development teams across the department, including definition and implementation of software test process improvements. Activities will include generating test strategies, plans, developing test harnesses, and conducting functional and regression tests at unit and system integration level prior to delivery of release candidate software to the Product Assurance team for formal verification and validation testing.
You will need sufficient experience in software testing to be able to own and drive software development process improvements, leading a small team of engineers together with sufficient experience in C++ design and development to be able to own the design and development of unit and system test suites for complex multi-threaded object oriented real time software systems. You must also have a thorough understanding of software test processes and tools, good communication skills and a BSc/BEng in Software Engineering / Computer Science or similar discipline.
