Project Director required to manage a leading European technology project. An exciting defence radio programme that will deliver ground-breaking benefits to our customers and significant market growth for the company.
As Project Director you must be able to achieve a high level of motivation and ensure effective team working from a professional multi-disciplined team. Responsibilities within this role include: Delivering customer satisfaction through the provision of quality material and services to agreed timescales and performance; Direct relationships with senior customer representatives for project performance and future business opportunities; Management and development of staff to ensure achievement of key business performance measures; Business Process Effectiveness through review, lifecycle management and re-engineering projects related to the project; Providing sales forecasts and delivering sales to the agreed margin and dates; Presenting to the Management Team of the company.
Objectives
To ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at highest levels and the project team contunue to deliver to schedule and current forecast costs. The high-level of reporting is to be maintained and team performance managed and developed.
As Project Director ideally you will have a proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships, delivering projects and motivating teams. Experience of complex software projects and the ability to get results by working well with other internal teams will be a considerable advantage. A comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, including control and monitoring and risk management is essential.
