This new and successful company, a former ALSTOM business, is a global specialist in Power Conversion. They provide customised solutions to convert electrical energy through the optimum application of technology in drives, controls, motors and generators. Their customers operate in the three main markets of Marine and Offshore, Oil & Gas, and Process Industries as well as in many specialised areas offering services from design-only to full turnkey systems including installation and commissioning.
They now have an opportunity for an experienced Software Project Manager to join a Software Development Group dedicated to producing advanced software tools supporting company engineering processes and knowledge management.
Qualified to degree level in software engineering, you will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of the application of OO design and re-use techniques. You will also have previous IT industry experience, including practical experience of translating user requirements into operational systems, project management, software quality management and end user training. You should have knowledge of NET, C#, Java, XML and SQL Server database design and implementation.
