My client requires a software engineer with expertise in developing C++ for windows applications. The position will be working on radar display systems for an Air Traffic Control Project.

My client is willing to consider suitably qualified applicants with a range of experience - from graduates with industry experience to established senior level software engineers.

Role/Purpose:
The design, development, documentation and testing of software using C++ in a Microsoft Windows Environment. To contribute to the product's architecture and long term development through a basic understanding of ATC technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Development of C++ for a Windows platform, including MFC and Visual Studio.
OO software design to class level using UML.
Peer reviewing of code, designs, requirements and tests.
Documentation of design decisions and rationale.

Essential:
HND/Degree qualified or equivalent.
C++ experience across the full software life cycle.
Good understanding of the principles behind Object Orientated Design - industry experience of UML.

Beneficial:
Understanding of TCP/IP networking and sockets.
Understanding of ATC technologies would be beneficial.
