Job Description
•To develop, test and debug new and existing software tools for the avionic test rigs.
•To support development and maintenance of the test rig operating system as required.
•To support configuration and operation of the avionic test rigs.
The candidate must have experience/knowledge of the following:
•Solid expertise in C and C++ programming languages, using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net
•Expertise in developing and maintaining Visual Basic and TCL applications.
•Experience in developing DLLs, use of TCP IP sockets.
•Knowledge of windows operating system, and Win32 API
The candidate will ideally have experience / knowledge of the majority of the following:
•The integration of multiple real time software applications across a distributed network of processors running vx works real time operating system and windows NT.
•The use of PVCs Dimensions or similar tool for configuration management..
•Aerospace vehicle systems and avionics architectures.
