One of our clients providing computer security solutions is looking for a Software Engineer responsible for core software components incorporated into company Gateway. The work is varied and will involve backend C++ development.
Requirements:
• Recent commercial development experience
• Experienced with both Windows and Linux/Unix development
• Excellent C++ knowledge, with recent C++ development experience.
• Experience writing multi-threaded and high performance C++ code.
• Development experience within a defined software development process.
Desirable:
• Knowledge or use of source control systems and defect tracking systems; Mail systems and associated protocols
• Experience with PERL and other scripting.
• Experience of a wide range of network products: Mail servers (Exchange, sendmail, qmail...), clients, proxies and firewalls.
Location: Buckinghamshire
Salary: £40K-45K
