Our client is a major 1st tier supplier to the automotive industry. It is acknowledged as world leader in its field and is part of a global organisation that is over 60,000 strong, whose UK Research and Development Group is based in Warwickshire in the West Midlands. The group focus is on the development of software control systems, and their testing, for advanced automotive drivetrain solutions. The company is a major player in the growing field of dual clutch technology, and has recently successfully launched the first high volume mass production dry twin clutch. They are now seeking to recruit experienced software Engineers, who will appreciate, and be excited by, the opportunity to work in, and contribute to, an environment right at the forefront of automotive technology.
What you need to be able to offer:

Good experience in the Embedded Software Development arena.

A good first degree in an engineering subject and possibly a higher qualification.

A sound automotive engineering background, preferably within the field of automotive transmissions.

Experience of automotive software development, preferably for safety critical applications written in C.

The thoroughness, enthusiasm and pace to work effectively in the dynamic environment.

And, of course, to be an excellent Team Player.
