THE JOB
SIX SIGMA TEAM MASTER
Due to continued success and expansion my client is now looking to recruit an experienced Six Sigma Core Team Master.
The role will involve traveling across UK and Europe to train and mentor managers and employees on green belt, black belt and lean manufacturing techniques
Responsibilities will include :
•Ongoing evolution of Six Sigma and the utilization of Six Sigma methodologies to achieve results
•World class training, coaching and certification of Six Sigma candidates
•Six Sigma process/policy consistency
•Joint ownership of Six Sigma resource selection and development process
•Six Sigma material ownership and development in support of Automation & Control Solutions and the clients Corporate Six Sigma
•Six Sigma knowledge retention and sharing of best practices
The Six Sigma Core Team Master will:
Support and help drive Six Sigma training and certification plans, facilitate expert level and other Six Sigma classes, drive variation reduction / waste elimination principles in multiple organizations, and act as a change agent to ensure stable, lean processes are deployed and ingrained throughout business processes and owned by leadership. Directly influence cross-business strategic initiatives, growth projects, improvement initiatives, and similar high impact projects. Mentor and certify Black Belt/Master Black Belt or Lean Expert/Lean Master candidates.
EXPERIENCE
Selected individual will have proven experience achieving results through utilization of Six Sigma and related continuous improvement systems, methodologies and tools. In addition, individuals will have a history of achieving results despite challenges and barriers. Experience working with / supporting / interacting with senior leadership is desired. Significant experience delivering and developing Six Sigma material desired.
Familiar with current VPD, HOS and FT initiatives.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL
1. Bachelor's (or graduate level) degree in engineering/related technical field
2. Extensive project experience in an engineering, technical, operational or appropriate business field.
3. Master certification.
4. Bias for action with ability to develop strategy, translate concepts and strategies into actionable plans, and achieve sustainable change and improvements through effective project management.
5. Demonstrate strong verbal, written, presentation and listening communication skills.
REMUNERATION
Basic salary up to £60k(depending on experience), plus additional benefits.
