One of the leading commercial developers is looking to recruit assistant Site
Managers and Site Managers to assist working on the large developments they
have in and around the M4 Corridor. The right person for the job will be
responsible and accountable for delivering the highest levels of service to
their customers by managing the daily running of sites ensuring the completion
is on time, within budget and to the specified quality, whilst ensuring a safe
working environment. You will need to understand the contract programme,
update and accurately report progress. Produce short term programmes related
to the main construction programme & monitor procurement schedule against
construction programme and update as required.
Liaising with consultants and customers to ensure a satisfactory information
flow in accordance with the Information release schedule is essential so an
excellent communicator would be ideal for the position,
You will also be responsible for managing materials and utilising the onsite
labour effectively.
As they are a market leader the right person for the role would proactively
work with subcontractors to identifying potential problems before they arise
and resolves them to avoid programme and cost implications to the project.
The projects they specialise in range from new build and extensions for
Schools, PFI Projects where they win repeat business. Sports halls & leisure
centres, Civils sub stations working with multiple ground works developers.
Medium large housing projects,
The most important thing is that you are confident and experienced in new
build developments commercially orientated and dedicated to performing and
taking control with the aspect of developing to project Manager in 2-3 years.
The salary will range from £38K £48 K, Health care & Car allowance is also
included 21 days + holiday,Bonus scheme which will be discussed at interview
stage Company pension Scheme.
