Description
My client have recently won a £5.5m New Build scheme in South East England and require a Site Manager. They have a Project Manager in place, and are looking for someone who is a presence out onsite, pushing the team and maintaining the progress.
My client have recently won a £5.5m New Build scheme in South East England and require a Site Manager. They have a Project Manager in place, and are looking for someone who is a presence out onsite, pushing the team and maintaining the progress.
They must have a thorough understanding of the processes onsite, with a good eye for quality of all completed work. Co-Ordinating and supervising the sub-contractors is the key element of this position, and the successful candidate will have a proven track record with other Regional Main-Contractors. My Client are a successful and growing Main-Contractor with regional offices across the South of England.
This position will be attached to the Kent office, who take on projects in a variety of sectors up to £20m in value. Current schemes include Leisure facilities, Mixed-Use developments, Health and Education projects. Turnover for their Construction Division is currently around £60m, and has shown steady growth over the past few years, something that will continue in 2007 and 08 with the future order they currently have.
Out of the Kent office, the geographical area they cover includes Kent, Sussex, Essex and SE London. This project is one they have been asked to take on by an existing client.
