Civil Site Engineer - Essex, Suffolk, Northamptonshire
Salary and Location
£24,000 - £28,000 + benefits. Roles based in Essex, Suffolk and Northamptonshire.
Role Description
The Civil Site Engineer will be working on various heavy civil projects with, including:
-Bridge reconstruction
- Bridge new build
-Highways
-Earthworks
The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for reading designs, setting out, diary management and the completion of health and safety documentation. This role is designed to develop and progress the Civil Site Engineer to a managerial level, so coordination of sub contractors and the workforce will be a key aspect. Woking closely with the Site Manager, the Civil Site Engineer will be given small works sections to manage, to enable development.
Required Experience
A civil engineering qualification is required and experience of working on heavy civils projects is essential. Setting out experience is required with 1-2 years site experience with a civil contractor. The Civil Site Engineer must have excellent communication skills to successfully manage the workforce on site.
