SETTINGS ENGINEERS
ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY
GODALMING/MANCHESTER/ EXETER
We are currently looking to recruit Settings Engineers within the Godalming, Exeter or Manchester offices to provide high level technical assistance and project management.
As Settings Engineer, duties will include conceptual design, preparation of single line diagrams and protection schematics through to the preparation of technical specifications, design audit and maloperation analysis.
Qualified to degree level in Electrical Engineering and/or MIEE, you will have proven technical capability associated with the design and/ or application of power system protection. Experience of protection application at transmission voltage levels (up to 500kV) will be ideal.
Ideally experience will have been gained in a transmission utility, consultancy or manufacturing environment and an understanding of National Grid standards would be highly advantageous. The capability to fulfil a role as Relay Settings Engineer would also be helpful.
