We currently have a vacancy for a Service Tendering Project Manager working in After Sales Department who would report directly to the Service Sales Manager.
Qualifications and Key Requirements
Candidates should be qualified to at least HNC level in an engineering discipline although those with other relevant qualifications will be considered. Must be computer literate . Previous commercial experience will be an added advantage although training will be given to suitable applicants.
Principal Duties
To proactively seek and obtain enquiries for service work on the Companys products.
Producing quotations in accordance with Company pricing and tender approval policies.
Manage allocated projects ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budgeted costs
Maintain good customer relationships in the interest of the business.
To support the Service Manager and the Service Sales Manager in developing the Companys service business.
To co-ordinate all communications between the customer and the Company in a timely manner.
Attending technical and commercial meetings with customers and other parties.
To regularly review project performance and report to senior management as appropriate.
To progress on time invoicing, receipt of payment and to identify late payments.
To minimise the Companys exposure to liabilities and maximise any opportunity to improve project margins.
