Description
Service Technician to work mobile in the Aberdeen area. Salary £19,000 - £22,00 pa depending on experience.
Our client is looking for a Service Technician to work mobile in the Aberdeen area. The role is home based and will include installation and planned maintenance of our range of equipment on customer's sites within an approximately 50 mile radius of their home address. There could be more travelling involved on occasions.
Duties:
• Service, repair, installation, commissioning and testing of lifting and handling equipment
• On-call response in accordance with the appropriate published roster
• Timely completion of activity reporting documentation i.e. time sheets and expense reports
• Accurate and descriptive problem reporting
• Completion of inspection and examination documentation as appropriate
• Implementation of the company's management procedures, safety procedures and statutory regulations as applicable
Salary: £19,000 - £22,00 pa (depending on experience)
Hours: Mon-Fri, 39 hours per week. Overtime will be paid at 50% for weekdays and 100% for Sundays and Bank Holidays on top of the base rate. The candidate will also be required to be on 24 hour standby on a roistered basis, for which they will receive an allowance, plus a call out payment when called out.
Benefits: Company vehicle will be provided, pension scheme. Holiday entitlement is 25 days' per year after the completion of 5 years service with the Company the holiday entitlement will increase to 26 working days in the following Company holiday year.
Qualifications: ONC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Proven competency to install, inspect, and maintain lifting equipment in accordance with relevant operating/installation instructions and the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
