A leading global manufacture of Rotating equipment in the offshore sector are looking for a Service Sales Engineer to manage business development.
The principal reason for the existence of the job is to plan, organise, promote and achieve budgeted volumes of business for inspections, servicing, maintenance, repairs, retrofits and spare parts for Steam Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors, Axial Compressors and associated equipment, based in the Qatar, Kuwait, with some European responsibilities as required.
Business is to be achieved at operating plan margin levels and is therefore likely to be at the higher end of the market in terms of user and equipment service requirements, technology application and price propensity.
BEng, BSc Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
A practical engineer.
Previous track record of sales within the service portfolio of turbomachinery to the oil/petrochemical market sector (retrofits, spares, repairs, maintenance).
An innovative and self-motivated salesperson with the ability to work largely unspuervised.
Able to follow through with cold calling
Commercially aware
Someone who has successfully concluded business with targerted marketplace.
Second or third language preferable.
The salary for the role is 36k-43k+ bonus, car, pension.
