Purpose
Using the combined skills of Dealership retail experience, qualified technical know-how and specialist product knowledge of Aston Martin and Lagonda motorcars from the 1950s to date. Interface with owners to sell labour, parts and technical service. To maximize every opportunity to achieve the departments set budget forecast of sales and profit revenue, whilst maintaining the highest standard of customer care and promoting interests of the department, company and its products.
Responsibilities
Meeting and communicating with customers from throughout the world to accept their vehicle in for repair,ensuring all work requirements are clearly understood and recorded. Preparing and completing repair orders correctly by identifying retail insurance, warranty and internal chargeable repairs
To be responsible for the accuracy and correct presentation of customers invoices.
To prepare reports and accurate estimates of cost for the repair of customers vehicles.
Processing vehicles through the workshop system and liaising with customers as necessary, whilst ensuring that all work is correctly authorised and recorded
Ensure that the agreed profit returns of each job are attained by using rational methods. Keeping a managed check on income and costs and making effective use of the resources available
Participate in the marketing and promotion of Works service selling campaigns using existing
departmental database and customer history files
To participate in the marketing and promotion of Works Service both on and off site and when applicable and within reason beyond the hours of the normal working day
Qualifications/Experience:
Applicants must have completed a motor trade repair apprenticeship and attained the required formal
qualifications, combined with previous Service Reception experience gained in a quality Marque
dealership
The successful candidate will possess excellent communications and negotiation skills and an excellent telephone manner
Applicants must also possess a range of computer skills and expertise to support the position and have a positive outlook
Specialist product knowledge of Aston Martin and Lagonda motorcars would be an advantage
