Description
Our client is a leading figure in the supply and service of CheckWeighing and anti-contamination systems i.e. x ray and metal detection systems to a wide variety of industry sectors Worldwide.
They currently require a technically minded electro-mechanical service / support engineer to assist with site visits, service call outs, installation and commissioning projects of the companys full range of automated communication and machinery products.

They currently require a technically minded electro-mechanical service / support engineer to assist with site visits, service call outs, installation and commissioning projects of the companys full range of automated communication and machinery products.
Ideally the right candidate will possess a formal qualification in a relevant discipline will have previous experience dealing with checkweighing and anti contamination systems in a factory environment and have working knowledge of PLC systems, Inverters and TCP / IP networking protocols. It is also important that the engineer is software capable with the following systems: HyperTerminal, Windows XP, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and DOS.
The position will involve some travel to client sites so engineers must be flexible and possess the right attitude towards getting the job done as the working environments could depend heavily on the correct function of these machines and the data created.
Due to the amount of client liaison engineers with previous customer support, applications or technical support positions would be of interest.
