On-site service engineer based near Reading or Swindon sought by market leader in laboratory equipment
As our service engineer you will travel from home to our customers sites mainly in the South / West of England. Meet with the customer, carry out the service and calibration. Discuss any issues the customer may have and communicate any additional costs and fill out relevant paperwork.
A flexible attitude to work is needed as some working days will be long and some over night stays required.
A high level of customer service will be expected. This is a varied and enjoyable job
Full training will be given at our offices in Essex
Clean driving licence is essential
The ideal candidate would
- Have experience of assembling or calibrating and repairing simple mechanical /electronic equipment
- Smart appearance
- Polite and friendly attitude
- Reliable
- Good communication skills
- No fear of flying.
- Be in good physical health
- Some knowledge of computers
- Non Smoker
