Description
Our client is a leading manufacturer in industrial Automation. They are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to provide service to customers throughout the UK and includes extensive travel overseas. A flexible attitude towards working outside of normal hours is essential. Key responsibilities within the roles will include commissioning, fault finding to component level and servicing the range of products manufactured and supplied by the company. Focusing on quality of service activity at all times is a fundamental requirement of this position as is maintaining cost control measures wherever possible.
Applicants should be qualified to at least HNC or equivalent in electrical or electronic engineering and be conversant in both analogue and digital electronics. Applicants should ideally have 3 - 4 years relevant experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Preference will be given to Applicants having worked in a service role in the marine or offshore industry, particularly with drives or power electronics. In order to help provide Customers with the right solutions, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with a wide range of people is essential.
