My client, a major asset management company, require a Facilities Manager/Service Delivery Manager to be responsible for managing all on-site services and the day to day operational delivery of services at one of their clients schools based in Cornwall.

My client, a major asset management company, require a Facilities Manager/Service Delivery Manager to be responsible for managing all on-site services and the day to day operational delivery of services at one of their clients schools based in Cornwall.
You will have a minimum of three years previous experience of property maintenance within a similar environment. A knowledge and understanding of security systems, plant rooms, fire alarms and heating systems, as well as a high level of technical ability and management skills is also required.
Your main areas of responsibility will be:
Coordinating access for maintenance works and oversee planned works
Coordinate access for contractors and third parties
Take responsibility for all Health and Safety on site including risk assessments, method statements and COSHH
Monitoring all PPM and reactive works
Ensuring all rooms and areas of the building are available in order that no financial penalties are received
You must possess a relevant Health and Safety training certificate to ISOH standard and as this role involves working at a school, CRB disclosure is required.
This role is based in Falmouth, Cornwall and you will ideally live within 20-25 miles of Falmouth. It is currently a temporary position for six - nine months but will hopefully lead to a permanent position.
An excellent package is on offer as well as a starting salary of between £22,000 - £24,000 depending on experience.
