Description
Service Centre Administrator - required to start on an initial 3 month contract, based in Crawley for a Large Defence Organisation. Purpose of the role The Service Centre performs repairs on military equipment for a variety of customers in the UK and Overseas. An administrator is required to update and maintain the integrity of the Spares and Repairs database.
Service Centre Administrator - required to start on an initial 3 month contract, based in Crawley for a Large Defence Organisation. Purpose of the role The Service Centre performs repairs on military equipment for a variety of customers in the UK and Overseas. An administrator is required to update and maintain the integrity of the Spares and Repairs database. Currently the database is not being maintained which leads to errors in sales forecasts, reports to Customers, and the accuracy of quotations. Key Tasks Ensure that all the fields in the Spares and Repairs database (S and R) are populated. Amending the S and R database with forecast subcontractor repair and components shortages dates Ensure that the Forecast completion dates track the lower stage completion dates Ensure that items which have been delivered are deleted from the S and R database Undertake analysis and provide data to support the Service Centre Manager in the generation of KPIs, troubleshooting the process and the elimination of choke points. Qualifications Familiarity with Oracle Familiarity with Spares and Repairs Database Familiarity with Cordis Knowledge of the repair process Organisational skills Basic computing skills, including MS Office applications Personality / Behaviours Tenacious in extracting the requisite information from other parts of the organisation. Conscientious self starter committed to the primary task of maintaining the integrity of the Spares and Repairs database
