We are currently looking for a Sensory Scientist with previous experience in the food/drink industry to join a global food and drink manufacturer in Hampshire.
Job Summary
This is a highly visible and accountable role within our clients company. Not only will you be tasked with developing product tasting capabilities and the expertise in sensory science internally but to also improve the understanding of consumer sensorial preferences for the following:
- Coffee & tea experience
- hot drinks vending systems
Requirements:
Degree Qualified in Food Science or relevant qualification
Excellent sensory skills (especially tasting) with strong track record of sensory assessment
Strong experience in running sensory tests with consumers in an fmcg environment
Proven understanding of sensory science
Experience in training others
Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem solving skills
The ability to act quickly and efficiently, yet with strong planning and organisational skills
A great teamworker with excellent communication and presentation skills
Need to display curiosity and passion for drinks and/or food
The ability to travel globally
Work Permit for the UK
Valid driving license
