Our client which is one of the worlds leading developers of engines into the global marketplace is currently looking for a Test Engineer to work within its engine Build and Test department providing them with engineering support on all of their build and test processes.
THE ROLE
It will be the role of the Senior test Engineer to ensure that all of the departments test instructions are carried out with the relevant accuracy and effectiveness where appropriate. It will also be your role to continually improve the test bed utilisation and date quality, as well as driving the companies powertrain concern system forward.
THE CANDIDATE
You will need to have a good understanding of the mechanical automotive test environment along with a qualification in either automotive or mechanical engineering. Finally you will need to have good analytical skills as well as the ability to show how process improvements can be made once an engine is installed onto a test bed.
CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS
- HND/Degree in Mech/Auto Engineering.
- Test Bed Experience
- Test Process improvement experience
- Powertrain/Transmissions experience
