Our client, a leading provider of power & utilities to UK industry requires a Senior Technician to take day-to-day control of the M&E team to ensure all operations, maintenance and repair works to Mechanical and Electrical equipment for site utilities for a large industrial site

Our client, a leading provider of power & utilities to UK industry requires a Senior Technician to take day-to-day control of the M&E team to ensure all operations, maintenance and repair works to Mechanical and Electrical equipment for site utilities for a large industrial site
Managing a small team of Technicians, the position is in the main day work with occasional shift cover for holiday/start-up. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Man Manager with an electrical or mechanical bias who will preferably have undergone some multi-skill training, although additional training may be offered to the successful candidate. Basic IT literacy would also be a requirement for this position.
The successful candidate will ideally be a time served Mechanical or Electrical Technician along with a HND or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline plus experience including for example, Good electrical and mechanical knowledge with the ability to fault-find, knowledge of the food industry and process systems or knowledge of steam boilers, refrigeration, compressed air plant and associated site services.
Salary up to £29000 plus excellent benefits 25 days holiday plus pension & company bonus scheme.
