Role summary:
Responsible for the effective management of production output to achieve customer satisfaction, quality, delivery, cost, in a safe manner.
Principal Accountabilities:
•Manage and Plan machine and manning capacity to achieve customer requirements MPS.
•Interface with internal/external customers and suppliers.
•Manage COPQ, ensuring system compliance.
•Manage overhead costs, consumables, overtime to budget or better.

•Manage overhead costs, consumables, overtime to budget or better.
•Motivate and Lead the team to achieve budgets and targets.
•Manage time and attendance in line with company policy,
•Identify & Implement improvements to the module through VSM and PDPR .
•Deploy Tools and Techniques so all opportunities for CI and Waste elimination are identified and prioritised for action.
•Ensure consistent communication is maintained throughout the department
•Drive and co-ordinate project improvement activity ensuring effective monitoring and evaluation such that milestones are achieved.
•Lead/Co-Lead lean events.
•Manage and Plan training to meet module requirements.
•Manage EH&S workplace health and safety requirements (RA,COSHH,MH,PPE, 5S)
•Discipline is maintained within the module.
•Deputise for Operations Manager as and when required
•Experience of working within an Aerospace manufacturing environment.
•Extensive knowledge/experience of conventional and CNC machine tools.
