Description
An opportunity for a senior Stress Analysis Engineer has arisen within this leading technical consultantcey who are market leaders within the Aerospace, Automotive, MOD and consumer market places.
THE ROLE
The role requires a Stress Analysis Engineer who has the ability to lead and act as a Senior advisor on projects. You will also get involved in some day to day FE work including calculations and computer simulations on structures, as well as leading small team of junior consultants.
THE CANDIDATE
You will need to be degree qualified in mechanical or materials engineering, and have a solid understanding of the principles of FEA and stress analysis. You will need to have good CAD skills particularly in relation to analysis software. Any further analysis experience will be beneficial such as vibration and dynamics or heat exchange or thermal analysis. Knowledge of these and other areas will determine how well you will do in your application.

- Experience of NASTRAN or a similar
