Senior Quantity Surveyor required to manage the commercial aspects of Retail building projects within the Bristol and surrounding areas.
Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Package: £45 - 50k + car or allowance and full benefits package.
Company: Regional Main Contractor with a good reputation for quality construction projects, operating across both the public and private building sectors. This organisation is well thought of and has a high proportion of repeat and negotiated projects to £20m
Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor required to manage the commercial aspects of Retail building projects within the Bristol and surrounding areas.
Your responsibilities will include complete budget and cost control, financial reports, liaison with the construction team members (internal & external) on all issues that have a commercial bearing, procurement and negotiation of subcontracts, management of variations and subcontractors, valuations and payments, you will be focused upon completion of the projects within budget, whilst ensuring that company procedures are adhered to, additionally you will ensure the Final account is agreed amicably
Requirements: The successful candidates should have formal construction qualifications and a proven track record of successfully providing QS support to projects ranging in value from £2m.
