THE COMPANY

We are currently seeking a Site based Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a £50m PFI Education Project in Kent.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideally you will possess a major main contractor background with experience on Design & Build projects in excess of £20m.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role will include:
Implementation and management of procurement strategy including sub-contract orders as well as management of all commercial aspects of the construction works through to final accounts.
You will be managing a team of 2-3 Quantity Surveyors working closely with the Project Surveyor and his team on all programme, design and construction aspects.
Implementation and management of risk and opportunity identification and mitigation/maximization.
THE INDIVIDUAL
Have extensive construction experience within the building sector.
Essentially have Design & Build experience and have worked for a main contractor.
Be an effective communicator, level headed and a good team player.
Be computer literate with previous experience of working on a major project value of at least £20M.
Have an organised and systematic approach and be able to liaise effectively with site operational teams.
