Our client has been awarded a key Olympic Infrastructure project to construct ring roads, access roads, structures, bridges and ancillary works as one of the main heavy Civil Engineering contracts.
Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client has been awarded a key Olympic Infrastructure project to construct ring roads, access roads, structures, bridges and ancillary works as one of the main heavy Civil Engineering contracts. Ideally we are looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor candidates from a Main Civil Engineering Contractor background- specifically on large value projects to work as part of a large team.
Key duties for the Senior Quantity Surveyor include the following:
•Provide taking off and bill of quantities preparation.
•Preparation of interim applications.
•Identify and prepare additional items and claims.
•Preparation of final accounts.
•Measurement and valuation of sub-contract work.
•Preparation and negotiation of sub-contractors' final accounts.
•Preparation of cost and value reconciliations, financial reporting and forecasting.
•Assist in cost and risk management.
•Provide site management with commercial support and advice as required.
•Advise as required on procurement issues.
•Supervise Assistant QS
•Reporting to the Commercial Manager
