Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a leading national sub-contractor based in Derbyshire. The role will entail running and overseeing a small team responsible for a high volume of contracts falling within a set geographical region, ensuring that all commercial aspects of works are covered to minimise business exposure both contractually and financially, ensuring appropriate value recovery and further growth where possible.
Candidates should be highly motivated and able to fit into a team environment, have good communication and organisational skills to successfully complete specific team objectives.
Commercial and Contractual awareness and previous knowledge of the sub-contract/main-contract relationship is essential and is it envisaged the ideal candidate would possess a construction related qualification to a minimum of HNC/HND level, previous experience is essential.
