My client is looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, creative, client facing individuals to be involved in commercial developments within an exciting team environment.
The jobholder will be expected to display a range of competencies, both behavioural and technical in undertaking the role, including: building a performing team; managing conflict in a positive way; production of tender and contract documents, enquiry documents, reports and other project documentation; ability to build and maintain confidence in the service being delivered; demonstrable proactivity and innovation; demonstrable understanding of a project life cycle; familiarity with common project management tools and processes including risk and value management. Evidence of these being displayed will be reviewed as part of the PDR process and training and development needs agreed as appropriate.

Qualifications:
Ideally a degree in a built environment subject and/or a relevant professional qualification, typically: MRICS, MICE, MCIOB or equivalent. MAPM is also desirable.
Experience:
Demonstrable and extensive Post Qualification experience in project management gained working within a client, consultant or contractor environment, with good exposure to Education sector projects and a working knowledge of landlord/tenant law and processes. Experience should cover all phases of the project from inception to completion and the ability to work as a team member and lead, where appropriate, is essential. Good planning and programming skills are required, as is a working knowledge of contract law and procedures including experience with all aspects of Employers Agent role. An ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both orally and in writing, is essential. Demonstrable skills in maintaining and developing both internal and external relationships are required. Demonstrable IT skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft office software is essential. Experienced with managing and assisting in the training of colleagues.
However we will look at candidates with less experience provided the experience to date is sufficiently relevant.
